… from a wonderful, fun-filled, whirlwind two week trip. Ten glorious days in the mountains (never over 80 degrees, I might add) and a fun girls trip to Hotlanta for the American Girl store, and a stop over in Greenville for a visit with the grands and cousins and a trip to a wonderful curriculum store.
Home Sweet Home is such an understatement. We loved being gone, but Dorothy had it right: There’s no place like home.
LOTS going on, finishing a few projects, preparing for school, and praying over some good but overwhelming things. I’ll be resting in Proverbs 3:5-6 ‘Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight.’
It’s so good to be home, but even better to know that I don’t have to trust in my own understanding to take on the challenges of life. The Lord has us in the palm of His hand. And, as Sinclair Ferguson says, He will stop at nothing to bless us.
